In today's world, plastic has most important role in packaging industry due to its specific properties. The usage of non degradable plastic is leading to huge amount of waste every year and increasing global warming. We should promote the utilisation of natural based polymers that come from renewable resources and their products to lower down the environmental risks. This book describes the techniques to prepare biodegradable packaging films from various natural polymers.
