Author
Dr Michael Mitchell teaches English at the Gymnasium der Mariannhiller Missionare in Reken Maria Veen. He is also Associate Fellow of the Yesu Persaud Centre for Caribbean Studies at the University of Warwick, and lives in Dorsten, Germany and near Stratford-upon-Avon. He is the author of numerous articles on postcolonial literature for books and periodicals and has a special interest in the works of Guyanese authors Sir Wilson Harris and David Dabydeen. He has published a monograph: Hidden Mutualities: Faustian Themes from Ancient Gnosticism to the Postcolonial. His work for the Langenscheidt Viewfinder series includes The Postcolonial Experience, Caribbean Short Stories, Ethnic Diversity in the UK, and Shakespeare: Where There's a Will There's a Way. He has many years' experience running a school drama group performing plays in English.
