Description
This book will be of use to both trainee and practising radiologists as a simple, easily accessible guide to abdominal radiology. The A-Z structure of the book allows the reader to quickly look up the key features of a known condition, or to help confirm a suspected diagnosis (linked conditions, or those with a similar appearance in imaging, are cross-referenced). Each condition is illustrated with a classic example, either using plain film or the most suitable imaging modality to demonstrate the underlying pathology. In each case, the aetiology, clinical presentation, key radiological features and points of diagnostic significance are all described, with key points of interest and indications for other investigations also highlighted.
