Readers are taken by the hand through reflections on their own genders and voices, and through straightforward, gentle introductions to good practice. The open, vulnerable dialogues between the authors themselves really bring the material to life, and powerfully illustrate the kinds of practices they're suggesting. A wonderful book for speech and language therapists, and for anyone wanting to know more about the current state of gender, how gender relates to voice, and how to work in affirmative ways with trans and non-binary people.
