That's Not Fair!

"Education for Citizenship" is one of the cross-curricular themes identified by the National Curriculum Council. The NCC booklet suggests eight essential components of Education for Citizenship: the nature of community; roles and relationships in a pluralist society; being a citizen; the family; democracy in action; the citizen and the law; work, employment and leisure; public services. This book deals with all of these issues in one way or another. It divides into sections providing ideas for activites including stories, games, role play, discussion and problem solving. Much of the book is designed to be photocopied.
