For 18 years, Charles R. Miller owned and operated a successful commercial electrical contracting company (Lighthouse Electric) in Nashville, Tennessee. Now an accomplished author and educator, Mr. Miller specializes in leading customized seminars on the National Electrical Code (R) (NEC (R)) as well as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E. Class and seminar attendees have included employees of companies such as Suez Water, Lockheed Martin and McKee Foods, as well as academic institutions such as Tennessee State University, Vanderbilt University and Purdue University. Mr. Miller also wrote and illustrated the monthly "Code In Focus" column in Electrical Contractor magazine for 19 years and co-hosted a home improvement radio talk show in Nashville for over three years. Daniel Sandefur is licensed as an electrical contractor and master electrician in 37 states, and he is also a licensed electrical inspector and electrical plans examiner. Mr. Sandefur also holds certifications as a Master Electrical Inspector, One- & Two-Family Dwelling Inspector, Commercial Electrical Inspector and Electrical Plans Examiner from the International Code Council (R). He is a BICSI (R) certified Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). Daniel teaches continuing education and exam preparation classes throughout the U.S. for electricians and works as an electrical consultant for the themed entertainment industry in the Orlando, Florida area.
