She has co-authored two books, Client Education: Theory and Practice (1st ed.) and Critical Thinking Applied to Nursing, in addition to articles and conference presentations.' She has received two distinguished service awards, one from Metropolitan State College of Denver and one from the State of Colorado Office of Youth Services.' She has directed an online RN-BSN program, and is presently working in the Loretto Heights School of Nursing Online Department at Regis University helping to develop classes for a program of over 1000 students. She is a Certified Nurse Educator; her passion is teaching and learning.
