Person
Paula Metcalf studied at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, graduating with a BA Hons in Illustration and French (First Class) and an MA in Childrens Book Illustration (Distinction). In 2007, she was the first illustrator-in-residence at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and since 2008 she has been a visiting lecturer on the highly regarded Childrens Book Illustration MA at ARU Cambridge. Paula loves being an illustrator because drawing and writing make
her happier than nearly anything else she can think of. She also gets to spend all day with her dog, Walter, who often tries to sneak onto her lap while shes working.
