Cameron Menzies (Author)
Cameron Menzies is an author and editor of nonfiction books for children, and a former actor. She lives and works in a cottage near the Scottish seaside with the company of her husband, two children and the family's beloved border collie.
Marc Pattenden (Illustrator)
Marc is a self-taught illustrator from East Sussex. As a child he drew endlessly, but it wasn't until his children were born that he rediscovered his love of doodling as a way to entertain both them and himself. Now as a full time illustrator he enjoys spending his days sat in his garden studio, fuelled by tea and biscuits, mainly drawing animals and scenes from the natural world. Marc works digitally with the aim of creating colourful engaging work, full of texture and atmosphere. Marc always finds the process of illustration a totally joyful experience, seeking inspiration from galleries, museums and the beautiful South Downs that are on his doorstep. Marc is very glad to have made a career out of something he loves and hopes to be drawing for many years to come.
