Description
Stunning photography from reknowned photographer Anne Menke. Foreword by American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.
Texts by luminaries such as Peter Beard, Paul Johnson and Paul Smith explain where fashion meets culture in ethnic populations in Latin America, Europe, Asia, North America, and more.
Anne Menke has travelled the world on assignment for the likes of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times, usually in search of the perfect environment to shoot a fashion spread. Through this, she has discovered that these environments themselves are the origins of much of the fashion we see on the runways today and has compiled an incredible record of people and places with that in mind.

Reviews / Votes
I must say I have a particular crush for this book, which intertwines two art practices present in our daily lives: fashion and photography. In our rapid changing world, we must preserve those cultural characteristics that build the strength and diversity of the world community. This book testimonies the power of travels that nourishes human's inspiration. -- Carlotta Battistini My Blabla Art Blog, November 10, 2015More details
