Janet Mehigan is a Fellow of the Society of Scribes and Illuminators and of the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society. She also teaches calligraphy and art in Adult Education. Janet runs a number of workshops and has been a participant at Art in Action. She has written a title called Illumination for Calligraphy and has co-authored a number of books about calligraphy with Mary Noble, also a Fellow of the Society of Scribes and Illuminators and of the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society, and a teacher in Further Education. These titles include The Beginner's Guide to Calligraphy and The Calligrapher's Companion.
