Beyond Kuiper
Description
After World War III, climate collapse has fractured civilization. Scarcity and mass displacement force humanity into uneasy unity under the World Council. As the planet struggles to recover, one controversial initiative rises: Project Nomad-humanity's first interstellar mission, built to seek answers and possibly allies beyond the solar system.
But as construction accelerates, so does conflict. Councilor Madeline Good sees Nomad as a threat to Earth's sovereignty. Her rival, Councilor Godric Adams, believes survival demands abandoning borders for a shared planetary identity. Their clash exposes fractures within the Council, where control of resources and fear of the unknown drive hidden agendas.
As investigators reopen cases tied to Nomad's enigmatic architect, Bernard Hubert-a scientist with a shadowed past and technology far beyond known limits-secrets begin to surface. Operatives steal artifacts, silence witnesses, and maneuver for a historic shift in power.
Beyond Earth, the universe is watching.
The Galactic Star Alliance-an ancient coalition guarding cosmic stability-monitors humanity's every move. In alien cities suspended in vast skies, leaders debate covert interference and a rising destabilizer: the human race. As Earth's fusion drives and antimatter research advance at startling speed, the Alliance divides. Some see a future ally. Others foresee catastrophe.
Then a shocking act of violence at a ceremonial gathering among the stars reveals enemies already in motion. Assassinations and forbidden technologies make one truth undeniable: Nomad has awakened forces far beyond Earth's control.
Earth is running out of time.

Builds spaceships. John is a Mechanical Engineer for Lockheed Martin Space, who contributes to numerous NASA missions, including Mars 2020, LUCY, Deep Space Gateway, and Orion; however, space and the unknown don't occupy his entire being. Following his dreams to work in the aerospace industry, John moved to Denver, Colorado where he met Tony, his amazing wine slinging partner, who is a Chef and Sommelier. John's expansive mind and energetic curiosity led him to enjoy a myriad of creative outlets, such as boulder scrambling, disc golf, searching for the perfect wave to body surf, gardening peppers too hot to eat, and gloving. Between delving into these fine activities, he honors his Irish heritage and cardio needs by participating in Ireland's true traditional sport: hurling (look it up). Beyond all this, he is an artist, an acrylic painter, whose strokes transcribe exotic dreamscapes to canvas and bring a vibrant lush palette to illuminate new worlds. Throughout all of these diverse facets of life, his affinity for words never wavered. Transcribed and translated from existential questions to tangible adventure, his and Matt's world building and galactic lore span a lifetime of curiosity.
