The Sex Machine is not a book about sex, or a machine, or about a machine that anyone has sex with. Truth be told, The Sex Machine has very little sex in it. Instead, this is a look at poll-takers, public opinion polls, and the importance that big business places on what people think. Mainly though The Sex Machine is about a man named MacInnes who could easily predict the results of a poll question without the need for taking any polls or surveys.
