Kim McLean is an experienced elementary, middle, school and senior high teacher, where she has taught primarily English and Mathematics. She has consulted with many schools and school districts as well as, authoring and presenting seminars and workshops around North America. Areas of expertise include lesson planning, teaching mathematics, study and reading skills and learning disabilities. Kim's diversified teaching experiences, background in mentoring new and seasoned teachers and presentation style make her a much sought after speaker. Kevin Murphy, director of Learning Technologies in inlets, heads a multimedia team that designs and develops interactive teaching and learning materials. He is also involved in ongoing professional development and technology initiatives within Calgary Academy and other schools. Kevin's experience includes 15 years in the classroom, K-12, with a strong emphasis on special needs, 8 years as a System Specialist in Student Services with the Calgary Board of Education in the high needs areas of Calgary, and 2 years as a Project Manager with Alberta Learning, where he was responsible for province-wide initiatives related to behavioral issues in schools.
