Self-published author and filmmaker Peter McNeil was born in Brooklyn, New York and now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife Pamela and three children, Justin, Jordan, and Milahn. His inspiration to narrate compelling stories derived from the socially conscious filmmaker Spike Lee and the legend of horror novels, Stephen King. He formed A Brighter Path Productions to concentrate on penning novels and financing his own independent film projects. As a black man navigating the film and literary arena, he felt it was important to take ownership of his content while also conveying universal messages that will have a global impact.
