"When you pick up any book from Focal Press, you know two things. One: it is extremely useful for photographers, and Two: it is qualitative, thorough information for those wanting in depth knowledge. There are more books about PSP, so why bother? In short: Paint Shop Pro 8, the guide to creating professional images is by far the clearest guide for PSP. It's a serious book for people wanting to know more. Of course every function of the program is discussed in detail. But it is the examples that make this manual the best. It is strongly visual, with lots of examples and graphics."
