Killer Date

When ghost writer Lee Bartholomew finds herself between jobs, she decides to visit her cousin, Gussie, who has recently fled to the depths of rural Devon to recuperate from her disastrous marriage. Lee arrives to find Gussie in worse trouble than ever. Working in a restaurant, one of her customers - with a peanut allergy - died because of the peanut oil in her food, even though Gussie swears it wasn't part of the dish she served. When Gussie is fired, Lee, anxious to clear her name, embarks upon an investigation of her own. The woman was at the restaurant on a blind date with a man who called himself 'Mr Wright' - they met on the internet, but he never showed up. As Lee begins to delve into the lives of all around her, the body of another woman is found at the bottom of a nearby quarry. And this woman also had a scheduled date with 'Mr Wright'...
