Held To Ransom

Newly married and excited about honeymooning near her family in the Hamptons, ghost writer Lee Bartholomew isn't prepared for the disasters that happen when she arrives on US soil. Not only has her husband had to stay behind in London, but very soon Lee finds herself at the centre of a crime investigation that seems to get more tangled - and more sinister - as the seconds tick past.

First there is a ransom attempt on her step-brother's adopted son - only the wrong boy is taken by mistake. Then comes murder, deception and further kidnapping before it seems that almost every person Lee comes into contact with could be involved, and could pose as a very real threat to her life...
