In 2009, he received a Creative Capital| Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant for his blog, Post Internet (122909a.com), which was recently published in book form by Link Editions. McHugh is currently the Kress Fellow in Interpretive Technology at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.
