Yugoslavia

This volume in the "Marxist Regimes" series focuses on Yugoslavia, examining the system of market socialism developed in Yugoslavia after the quarrel between Stalin and Tito which left its stamp on the country's political system and its Marxist ideology. The historical evolution of these features is investigated in this book and an account is given of problems within the new Yugoslav system of self-management, given the context of Balkan politics and national rivalries. The book concludes with a review of foreign policy achievements and an evaluation of the events of the 1980s.
