After her criminal husband is murdered, Corinne inherits his fortune. Then she disappears. And if she isn't going to collect, the fortune falls to her nephew-in-law-Little Steve. He wants to confirm what everyone seems to believe, that Corinne is either long gone or stone dead. That's where detective Jaimie MacRae comes in.
