Leonardo Meschini was born in 1973 and lives and works in Civita Castellana, a small town near Rome. He finally enters the world of children's book and began his first collaboration with a publisher in New Zealand in 1997. Leonardo often participated in the Children's Book Fair in Bologna, and in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002 was selected by an international jury for the exhibition illustrators and appeared in the Annual Illustrators. Kristen McCurry is an Iowa-born children's writer and editor who lived in lots of places before settling in Minnesota. She loves reading, whacking tennis balls, and hanging out with her family, which includes her husband, teenage twins, and a sneaky beagle named ZuZu.
