'The issue at the centre of this lively play is truanting. Apart from providing entertainment, the material should focus attention on the causes and consequences of truanting, promote discussion and, perhaps, alleviate problems... The play closes on an optimistic note and there is plenty of humour. A cast of 30 very varied characters means a whole class can be involved. Every senior school library should have one copy, but a set of 30 would be an even better investment.'
