Pamela R. McCarroll is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology and Director of Field Education at Knox College in the University of Toronto. She is certified as a Teaching Supervisor by the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (CASC) and ordained in the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Pam's interest in hope grows out of her clinical work in spiritual care and her yearning to think and live the faith amidst rapid changes in church and public life.

Pamela McCarroll is associate professor of pastoral theology and Director of Theological Field Education at Knox College at the University of Toronto, where she has taught since 2008. The author of numerous articles, chapeters, and a book entitled Waiting at the Foot of the Cross: Toward a theology of Hope (Pickwick, 2014), her areas of expertise are in pastoral theology, especially spirituality, spiritual/pastoral care, suffering and hope. McCarroll is a certified teaching supervisor in clinical pastoral education, Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (CASC), and an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.
