I love the McBride books! They are great textbooks that are up-to-date and take statistics to the students in an easy-to-use, friendly manner that makes learning statistics possible and approachable. -- Coral M. Bruni, Ph.D. * Pre pub Review * The author uses simple examples and real-life situations to introduce abstract topics in a fun and engaging manner. -- Shahram Ghiasinejad * Pre pub Review * This textbook offers a well-rounded and innovative approach to teaching statistics, blending key concepts from both statistics and research methods in a way that truly enhances student learning. The attention to detail, particularly in areas like variability and graph creation, allows instructors to dive deep into topics when needed, while also offering flexibility to streamline content that may overlap with research methods courses. As someone who teaches both, I appreciate the inclusion of material like power analysis and the thoughtful integration of real-world tools. This book is sure to impact classrooms positively, offering a fresh take on teaching statistics that both challenges and supports students in meaningful ways. Its approach empowers educators to adapt the material to their specific course structure, making it a versatile and valuable resource for years to come. -- Gayle Dow * Pre pub Review *More details
