Description
When Rosie arrives on the children's hospital ward with her trolley full of musical instruments, the grey and silent hospital turns to vibrant rainbow colours. Each child meets Rosie and finds joy and laughter as she sings and makes music for each child in turn. One day all the children disappear. They are discovered following Rosie who, like the Pied Piper is leading them through the hospital in a fantastic joyful Rainbow Conga. Soon Rosie has everyone; children, doctors and nurses joining Rosie's Rainbow Conga in a celebration of kindness, friendship, and creativity through the healing power of music.
All profits of Rosies Rainbow Conga go to Rosie's Rainbow Fund registered charity (1105243) supporting children in hospital.

Lorraine Kelly CBE"Rosie's Rainbow Conga bursts with colour, kindness, and hope. It's a joyful reminder that even when your skies are grey, there's always a rainbow waiting to shine. Everyone will want to join this conga! I absolutely love it.

Carolyn is an award-winning author, charity founder, and inspirational speaker.
She is the founder of Rosie's Rainbow Fund; a children's charity created in memory of her younger daughter. While Rosie was in hospital, she expressed a wish to raise money for other sick children. Following Rosie's untimely death in 2003, Carolyn transformed unimaginable grief into a lasting mission, fulfilling Rosie's wish by providing music therapy for seriously ill children. Over the years, the charity has raised millions of pounds supporting hospitalised children and their families.
Carolyn is Co-Director of Redroofs School for the Performing Arts, which has been run by her family since 1947. She has helped launch the careers of countless actors, BAFTA and Oscar winners, and many musical artists of the West End stage.
In 2008, she became one of the oldest mothers in the UK, giving birth to her son Dominic at the age of fifty-four. This story is documented in her memoir The Future is Rosie, winner of the 2025 People's Book Prize Beryl Bainbridge Award.
Her extraordinary life journey of loss, survival, and no small number of miracles forms the basis of the inspirational talks she delivers across the UK.
In 2014, she received a Point of Light from Prime Minister David Cameron, an accolade recognising outstanding volunteering and services to the community. In 2023, she was featured as Great Briton of the Week with Neil Oliver on GB News, and in 2025 she appeared as guest of honour on ITV's Katie Piper's Weekend Escapes.
Carolyn has found a new passion in writing for children. Her latest book, Rosie's Rainbow Conga, is the first in a series exploring the healing power of music, with several further titles in the pipeline. She is also a lyricist, having written songs for the charity including You Paint the Rainbow and Make Music Make Magic Make a Song. She is thrilled to have co-written the lyrics for the new charity single Make the Conga Longa, downloadable via the Rosie's Rainbow Conga storybook, with all profits going to the charity.
She lives in Berkshire with her teenage son Dominic, close to her older daughter Ellie and her two grandchildren.
