Chewbacca and ME

The three Star Wars films - "Star Wars", "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" - have become one of the biggest box office sensations of all time. Chewbacca, the huge hairy Wookiee sidekick of Han Solo, was one of the major characters in all three films. The man inside the Wookiee costume was 7-ft 2-inch tall British hospital porter, Peter Mayhew. Plucked from obscurity to become a Hollywood star, these are Mayhew's reminiscences of the 20 years he has spent in the Star Wars universe.
