Randall Maxey has been a woodworker since he was old enough to pick up a hammer. Born and raised in central Ohio, USA, he owns a custom woodworking business, Cherry Ridge Woodworks. He is also the founder and owner of MiniMaxWorkshop.com which supports the idea that you can build great projects in small spaces. He has appeared on the woodworking show Woodsmith Shop on PBS in the USA and was one of the editors for Woodsmith and Shop Notes magazines for ten years. He has also taught dozens of woodworking seminars and is joint author with Alan Goodsell of Woodworking Basics and Outdoor Woodworking Games, both published by GMC Publications. He lives in Florida, USA with his wife.
