Development of Terrorism Impact Evaluation Scale

Scale development is a necessary skill required by a psychological researcher.This book contains step by step procedure of developing a scale.The purpose of the study was to develop a scale called 'Terrorism Impact Evaluation Scale (TIES)'. Three phases of the study led to the development of the scale. Focus group discussion, structured in depth interviews, expert interview and phenomenological evidence were used for item generation in phase I of the study. Themes were generated. Those were later on clustered. Subscales were decided. Age, gender, education, socio economic status,working or nonworking ,directly or indirectly affected were kept as variables.
