Hewlett went on to mastermind - with Blur's Damon Albarn - the multi-million-selling virtual pop group, Gorillaz, before teaming up with Albarn again to creae a musical stage version of Monkey. Named Designer of the Year in 2006, Hewlett's latest project is the BBC TV show Phoo Action.
