Hannah Martens graduated from the University of Windsor with honors and holds degrees in visual arts, education, english, and early childhood education. Growing up autonomously gifted, alongside a sibling with physical disabilities, pursuing four strands of academic study simultaneously, having a multicultural marriage, and jumping into motherhood through the public adoption system are some of the landmarks on the map of Hannah's life. This first body of work focuses on parenthood and the process of becoming a mother through adoption.
