He has written several commentaries, including on the Greek text of the Pastoral Epistles and on the English text 1-2 Thessalonians. He also has a preaching ministry in the North of Scotland Mission Circuit of the Methodist Church. Stephen Travis is Vice-Principal and Director of Research at St John's College Nottingham. He has written on both a scholarly and a popular level on a variety of biblical themes. Ian Paul is Managing Editor of Grove Books Ltd and has taught in Nottingham and Salisbury.
