Description
This year, Miller's Collectables Price Guide celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, it has become the best-selling guide in its field, thanks to a winning combination of 6,000 fully captioned photographs (new every year) and invaluable collecting advice. New features include collectibles for bathrooms from 19th century lavatories to 1950s shower curtains - and collectable underwear, from Victorian petticoats to 20th century knickers. This year there is a section devoted to fake antiques that have appeared on the market, with practical advice on how to avoid them. From Art Deco to watches, scientific instruments to fans, there is something to suit every taste and every pocket. Every item shown appears with a price range, and helpful information includes fact boxes on key makers and factories, and directories of societies and suppliers. This colorful guide captures all the fun of collecting.
