Elaine Marmel is president of Marmel Enterprises, Inc., an organization that specializes in technical writing and software training. Elaine has an MBA from Cornell University and worked on projects to build financial management systems from New York City and Washington, D.C. Elaine currently spends most of her time writing; she has been a contributing editor since 1994 to Peachtree Extra and QuickBooks Extra monthly magazines. She wrote Peachtree For Dummies, Microsoft Project Bible, and Master VISUALLY Project 2003. She has also authored and co-authored more than 25 books about Windows, Word for Windows, 1-2-3 for Windows, digital photography, and Lotus Notes.
