Qualitative Data Analysis

Luyt & Manning's book, written for undergraduate and Masters level students new to qualitative data analysis (QDA), provides a broad introduction to the theory behind and practice of the main different approaches, including: content analysis; thematic analysisl; grounded theory; narrative analysis; interpretive phenomenological analysis; conversation analysis; discourse analysis; and case study analysis. The authors cover a wide range of analytic methods in an accessible and student friendly format, using a range of examples from real-life research studies. They also outline the underpinning theories and assumptions that inform analytical choices and practical data analysis. The authors have based the book on the data analysis courses they have taught over many years to students new to the subject.
