The idea of writing this book was conceived when I was supervising the research work of my students. The current book is compilation of development and characterization of fast dissolving tablets of glipizide by using crosspovidone and its kneading mixture, since diabetes is one of the major threats to human health. Oral antidaibetic agents are becoming more popular due to their convenience. Fast dissolving tablet is one of the best options among the oral antidaibetic agents.
