Hailed as an underground classic by a large and devoted following, LEGEND has been compared to such science fiction materpieces as DUNE and THE POSTMAN. As an adventure story, LEGEND is impossible to put down, but it is also more than just a compelling read. It is a brilliant parable about the mental bondage in which human beings live and how we can overcome it. LEGEND takes place in a decaying city of the future, a city that is devouring itself. The hero and heroine escape life on the streets, only to be trapped between a parasitic government and the Satanic netherworld of an insane cult. The only way for the heroine to triumph is to penetrate what cannot be penetrated. The only way for the hero to survive is to become a god.
