Dr. Surjit Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Engineering at National Institute of Technology (Institution of National Importance ), Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. He has several years of experience in teaching and research. He has completed his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra. He has received B.Tech. degree in Computer Engineering with Honors and completed his M.Tech. degree with Distinction. He was State Board Topper during his diploma course in Engineering. He is serving as reviewer of several reputed journals including IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, IJITWE, IJFC, IJTD, IJEOE, IJSI, Inderscience listed in WoS/Scopus indexed databases, and also member of the International Advisory Board of WoS/Scopus indexed journals including, IJIIT, IJHIoT, IJICTE, IJWNBT, and JCIT. He has also served as Guest Editor for the Special Issue of different reputed journals which is listed in WoS/Scopus indexed journal. He has chaired Invited Talk during International Conference SmartTech-2017. He is also serving as reviewer and or technical committee member for IEEE, Elsevier, Springer and other International Conferences including, MIND-2019, SUSCOM-2019, PerCAA-2019, ICRSE-2018 Morocco, NGCT-17, SmartTech-2017, IEEE ICIC 2015 and 12thIEEE INDIACom-18. He is also currently organizing International Conferences and Special Sessions at different International Conferences including SmartTech-2017. He is a regular member of Machine Intelligence Research (MIR) Lab, USA and also a member of Special Interest Group - Internet of Things (SIG-IoT). He is invited as Speaker at EMN Europe Meetings, Amsterdam, Netherlands. His areas of current interests are Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Wireless Sensor and Ad hoc Networks, and Computational Intelligence.
