Innovations in Conventional and Advanced Water Treatment Processes

Held in conjunction with the Aquatech 2000 event, the International Conference on Innovations in Conventional and Advanced Water Treatment Processes brought together research scientists, engineers, technical managers and operators from manufacturing industry, consulting firms, water supply companies and government. From the many papers presented 37 have been selected for these proceedings, covering the following topics: removal of inorganics from groundwater; integrated water treatment schemes; modelling and simulation and environmental impact assessment; removal, oxidation and biodegradation of organic compounds; particles removal and disinfection; and production of biologically stable water. These proceedings constitute a highly valuable compendium of current advances in water treatment processes.
