Jane Maday is an artist and illustrator. She is also the author of books on drawing and creativity, including How to Journal Like an Artist and Everyday Art Exercises. Her best-selling colouring books include Nature's Sweet Moments and The Art of Positivity. She began her career at age 14 as a scientific illustrator for the University of Florida. After receiving a bachelor's degree from the Ringling College of Art and Design, she was recruited by Hallmark Cards as an illustrator. She left the corporate world after her children were born and moved to beautiful Colorado. Her work has adorned children's books, collector plates, ornaments, cards, t-shirts, garden flags, jigsaw puzzles, and much more. She has two children, a menagerie of animals, a garden for inspiration, and a husband to share it all.
