NEW IN PAPERBACK
Knitting has always been a popular needlecraft - simple to learn, incredibly versatile as well as being a great way to reduce stress. However, it has recently become fashionable again as more and more designers include knitwear pieces in their collections and stylish knitted pieces appear in shop windows.
Tempted by the fabulous new yarns now available, many new and younger knitters have been inspired to have a go but they also need some good, stylish and contemporary designs on which to practise. This collection of 24 fantastic new designs is the perfect solution. Worked on fat needles and using chinille, worsted, alpaca, mohair, chunky, tape and textured yarns, the patterns incolude smart boleros, cuddly wraps, hooded cardigans and ponchos. Helpful information and techniques are provided for beginners and the patterns are all quick and easy: the stitches are kept very simple so that the yarn is shown to its full advantage.
Here is a great new collection to inspire and encourage all newcomers to pick up their needles and get started.
