This is Norman MacCaig's first full-length collection since "Collected Poems", which won the Gold Medal for the author in 1985. His familar themes combine to create a world in which people, landscapes and the passage of time are evoked with powerful emotional candour. Norman MacCaig was born in Scotland in 1910. This is his sixteenth collection. His "Collected poems" was published by Hogarth in August 1987.
