The Law Relating to Children

Despite the plethora of small books on the market relating to various aspects of child law and, in particular, the Children Act 1989, there is no single up to date text which covers the whole of civil child law, from adoption and child abduction to child care law and wardship. This text aims to fill that void. It deals with both procedural and substantive law and should be of interest to child law practitioners, court officials and legal departments in local authorities.
