Mr. Luther holds 32 patents gained during his 38-year career in broadcast engineering at RCA, and is the author of ten books, including Video Camera Technology and Principles of Digital Audio and Video, both published by Artech House. He has won both the SMPTE David Sarnoff Gold Medal and RCA David Sarnoff Gold Medal for Outstanding Technical Achievement.
