He has published monographs and many articles on early Christianity, including Explaining Christian Origins and Early Judaism (Brill 2007; co-edited with Ilkka Pyysiaeinen and Risto Uro) and Recovering Jewish-Christian Sects and Gospels (Brill, 2012).
