Lisa Ede is Professor of English at Oregon State University and Andrea A. Lunsford is Professor of English at Stanford University. In thirty years of writing together, Ede and Lunsford have co-authored twenty-three articles and book chapters. "Audience Addressed/Audience Invoked: The Role of Audience in Composition Theory and Pedagogy" won the CCCC's Richard Braddock Award in 1985 and has since been reprinted in ten anthologies on rhetoric and writing. With Robert J. Connors, Ede and Lunsford co-edited Essays on Classical Rhetoric and Modern Discourse, which received the Modern Language Association's Mina P. Shaughnessy Award. Their first co-authored book, Singular Texts/Plural Authors: Perspectives on Collaborative Writing, appeared in 1990.
