Close Range Photogrammetry

This is English-language edition of a book originally published in 2003 in German. The translation was undertaken with cooperation of the original author and a team of three researchers in the UK. The book describes the fundamentals of photogrammetry, the equipment used in both hardware and software, analytical methods and various real-world applications where the technique has found broad use over the past 20 years. Photogrammetry is a very strong field in Germany, and many of the best researchers, leading companies and equipment manufacturers are based there. Because of this, the book is authoritative, and its translation into English will be appreciated by users in N. America who often don't have access to the latest writing on the topic.
