Heraldry for Embroiderers

Heraldry has a long and romantic history, stretching back as far as the glorious Age of Chivalry. Heraldry can therefore be a rich source of inspiration for embroiderers and the authors show us how to incorporate heraldic motifs into embroidery without transgressing convention and how to use that convention as a basis for the development of a design.
