Jennifer Northway shares Shirley Hughes' talent of really animating and bringing to life the most everyday occurrences (that children will relate to) in her detailed illustrations. EYE An ultra-realistic story. Northway captures the emotional reality and the humour perfectly in words and pictures. The playgroup who tested this story voted it 'the favourite by a mile'. Jennifer Northway has written and illustrated a number of acclaimed picture books. Her book Get Lost, Laura! was shortlisted for the Smarties Award. In addition to her own work, Jennifer has illustrated books for many well-known authors, including Jill Paton Walsh, Floella Benjamin and Mary Hoffman.
