In the late eighties, the Lower East Side of New York City rippled with turmoil. It was the city against the poor and destitute, it was punk versus skin versus hippy. All of it had a soundtrack, call it drunk punk, call it what you would, the LES throbbed with a new generation of punkers pushing the boundaries. Underneath it lay an evil that even the headline writers of the Post could never have imagined. An unearthly evil that twists the will, an evil that an up and coming punk band will never forget.
